Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry of Health, Dr Peter Allen and Deputy Director of Health Services Dr Jorge Polanco held a cordial and productive meeting with the president of the Belize Medical and Dental Association, Dr Joel Cervantes and Association members: Dr Virginia Smith, Dr Ricardo Quetzal and Dr Natalia Rodriguez Castillo on Tuesday 13th December at the Ministry conference room in Belmopan.

The agenda covered a wide range of topics including medical tourism. All present agreed to continue to collaborate on issues related to the development of the National Health System, including Medical Tourism and it was also agreed to conduct regular meetings in an effort to avoid any future miscommunication.
