The actual crafting of the report was completed through the tenacious efforts of the Pol-icy Analysis and Planning Unit with guidance from the Director of Health Services. The format was adapted from templates shared with us from PAHO, our most staunch ally in the national health system. Everybody in the Ministry contributed to this report which is presented in five short chapters. The report attempts to present, as succinctly as possible, the work of the entire public health sector. Any gaps appearing because of brevity are unintended and will surely be addressed in future publications. Our great expectation is to move from strength to strength with each subsequent report.
