The Caribbean Epidemiological Centre, CAREC/PAHO, has held three workshops (GSS I, II and III) on Foodborne Disease Surveillance and Response with CARICOM member states under the WHO Global Salmonella Surveillance collaboration programme. GSS III was held in May 2005 and provided participants with guidelines on improved Foodborne disease surveillance and control.
