The Central Medical Laboratory (CML) provides laboratory diagnostic services aimed at providing a clinical, reference, and public health for the country.

The CML offers services for Hematology, Chemistry, Serology, Urinalysis, Parasitology, Bacteriology, Molecular Biology, Blood Banking, and Pathology. The CML currently serves as the distributor of laboratory supplies to public laboratories across the country. 

Another main function of the CML is to provide technical support to the public laboratories and technical advice to the Ministry of Health and Wellness headquarters.
